পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচন: সরকারি দেওয়ালে প্রচার নয়

১৭ নভেম্বর : কাছাড়ের পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের আদর্শ আচরন বিধি ও অবজারভার সেলের  ভারপ্রাপ্ত আধিকারিক এম যাদব এক নির্দেশে জানিয়েছেন, আসন্ন পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে কোনও প্রার্থী বা রাজনৈতিক দল নির্বাচনের আদর্শ বিধি লঙ্ঘন করলে আসাম পঞ্চায়েত আইন ও ইন্ডিয়ান পেনেল কোডের অধীনে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।

এই নিষেধাজ্ঞায় আরও জানানো হয়েছে, সরকারি ভবনগুলোতে তথা সরকারি ভবনের দেওয়ালে, বৈদ্যুতিক খুটিতে কোনও সাইনবোর্ড, রাজনৈতিক নেতাদের হোর্ডিং লাগানো যাবে না, যার মাধ্যমে আদর্শ আচরণ বিধি লঙ্ঘন হতে পারে। এ ধরনের সব কার্যকলাপ এড়াতে বা এর আগে কেউ যদি অনুরূপ কাজ করে থাকেন, তাহলে ২৪-ঘন্টার মধ্যে খুলে ফেলতে বা নষ্ট করে ফেলতে হবে। অন্যথায় সংশ্লিষ্টদের বিরুদ্ধে আইনত কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নেওয়া হবে।

In a notification issued by M. Yadav, in-charge officer of Observer Cell, it was stated that in the backdrop of Model Code of Conduct imposed due to forthcoming Panchayat polls, if any candidate or party violates the code of conduct, than strict action will be taken as per Assam Panchayat Act and Indian Penal Code.

In the said notification, it was further stated that, no hoarding or signboard or graffiti of political leaders can be put up in the walls of any government buildings, electric poles or in any government property. If any party or candidate does so, then it will go against the Model Code of Conduct. It was also mentioned that, if any one or any party has already put up such posters before the publication of this notification, then they are to remove the same within next 24 hours. If this notification is not adhered to, then strict action will be taken against erring party or individuals.
