No Covid +ve cases in Hailakandi since last 2 days, 6 discharged on Sunday

Aug. 22: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. Since the last two days, there have been no reports of any Covid-19 positive cases in the district.

Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 cases on Sunday. The district has altogether 18 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 215 RAT tests and 24 RT-PCR tests were done. 06 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,862 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,421 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no persons were were found positive in Hailakandi on Saturday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. Further, during the day, 4,316 persons were administered Covid-19 vaccines.
