NGO Paavan donate essentials to Silchar based animal shelter ‘Sporsho’

Aug. 23: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, NGO Paavan donated essential items to Silchar based Animal Shelter, ‘Sporsho: Touch the animals’. Organized and maintained by a group of philanthropic youths, Sporsho devotes its meaningful time to those animals that are the real victims of road accidents, cruelty, starvation, illnesses and so on. Their Shelter absorbs such animals subject to torture and mistreatment at the hands of humans.

Sporsho plays a pivotal role in offering such animals care, food, shelter and all possible treatment. NGO Paavan  has paid its full warmth cooperation to this shelter by donating items like rice cooker, weighing machine and a few tokens of affection keeping its vow to stand besides these creatures in true sense.

The informal programme of PAAVAN was conducted by its members Arundhati Dutta Choudhury, Anushaka Chakravorty, Suroshikha Debnath and Saptayudh Dutta Choudhury in the presence of the General Secretary of Sporsho;Touch the animals, Angshuman Sinha and a few volunteers.
