NGO AABEG to celebrate ‘Fagun Utsab’ 4.0 amidst a cultural bonanza on 13 March

March 9: After overcoming the tough pandemic situation augmented by ‘Covid-19,’ the world is now trying to heal itself and mankind is striving to bring back their life to normalcy. It is at this juncture that NGO AABEG, a socio- cultural and sports organisation has made an attempt to add colours to the lives of the people of Silchar.

AABEG is back again with their 4th edition of . Sandeep Ghosh, Secretary of AABEG said, “This Utsab would not be possible without the help of our title sponsor ‘Shop Insta”. This time we have come up with the idea of giving recognition to small business owners, startups. So there will be stalls of food items, jewelry stalls, cakes, garments and much more. Moreover, we will adopt two needy girls and will undertake their educational expenditure for the entire forthcoming year.”

Apart from this, there will also be dance items, folk and other such variety of songs representing the Bengali culture and tradition. Many individual artists and renowned groups of the town will perform during the occasion. The “Fagun Utsav” by AABEG will take place on 13 March (Sunday) at the Bijoyi Sangha Field at Steamer Ghat Road, Sadar Ghat, Silchar. The programme will begin at 1 PM.
