Navojit Singh Sidhu resigns from Punjab Cabinet
July 14: Punjab Cabinet Minister, Navojit Singh Sidhu tendered his resignation. Sidhu took to Twitter to share his resignation letter on Sunday which he wrote to the Congress President on 10 July, 2019.

Tweeting a copy of his resignation letter, he wrote, “My letter to the Congress President Shri. Rahul Gandhi Ji, submitted on June 10, 2019.” In another tweet at around 12.30 PM on Sunday, Sidhu wrote, “will be sending the resignation to Chief Minister, Punjab.”

His resignation comes after Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh deleted Sindhu’s name from all local bodies, tourism and cultural portfolios.
