NAAC postpones all Peer Team visit till 30 April, date for submission of SSR to be extended

March 26: In view of government’s directive on prevention of spreading of corona virus, all National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC)  Peer Team Visit of the institutions if scheduled for the period 24 March to 30 April 2020 stands cancelled. Fresh dates of peer team visit to the concerned institutions will be communicated after 30 April 2020. Notwithstanding anything specific mentioned above, all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) will be given extension of time once the situation eases out, without loss of generosity and all HEIs are requested not to panic. This was stated in a notification issued by NAAC, Bangalore on 26 March.

In another notification issued by NAAC on 25 March, it was further stated that in view of the national lockdown all institutions except essential services will be shut down till 14 April, 2020. In this context, NAAC notified that those institutions whose SSR submission and DVV response submission is still pending will be given time for the same based on the current prevailing situation.
