Shilpangan to organise ‘Paper Mask Making Workshop’ on 19 & 20 July at Daffodils School
July 18: Well, when it comes to Shilpangan, they are always in the look out of something unique. It is this uniqueness, which makes Shilpangan visible even amidst a host of other art & crafts institution of Barak Valley. This time it’s another unique initiative by Shilpangan. It’s a ‘Paper Mask Making Workshop.’
Shilpangan in collaboration with Gallery Hue will be organising this ‘Paper Mask Making Workshop’ on 19 and 20 July, 2019 at Daffodils High School, Malugram, Silchar. The workshop will begin at 10 AM on 19 July. The two resource persons of the workshop are Sattyazit Chakraborty and Sumitra Sumi from Bangladesh. Both of them are experts in this field of making paper mask and have earned great reputation.
In a press release issued by Sandipan Dutta Purkayastha, Principal of Shilpangan, it was stated that those above 13 years of age can participate in this ‘Paper Mask Making Workshop.’
