ATM fraudsters including a woman nabbed from different spots in Assam

April 7: In a significant move, Assam police have arrested four ATM fraudsters, including a woman, from different locations in the state in a span of two days.

Taking to its twitter handle, Nagaon Police wrote, “Beware of Fraudsters. A woman was apprehended by Nagaon Police on Wednesday who used to target people by exchanging their ATM cards in lieu of helping them and withdraw all savings 14 cards of different person recovered from her possession.”

As per sources, such kind of fraudsters are likely to operate in different parts of the state and so the public must be extra cautious during financial transactions in the ATMs.
