1 in oxygen support out of 9 active cases & no Covid death at SMCH on Sunday

Dec 19: The Covid-19 situation in Cachar is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 18 December to 5 PM on 19 December) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Sunday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 19 December, there were 09 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, no patient was put under ventilator support, but 01 is in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 01 Covid positive patient was admitted at SMCH and also 01 of them was discharged.
