LP, ME teachers to get appointment letters on 27 August

August 18: On 27 August, a ceremony will be held at Srimanta Sankaradev Kalakshetra, Guwahati maintaining social distancing. In that ceremony 300 teachers of lower primary (LP) and upper primary (ME) schools will be given the appointment letters. The rest of the teachers appointed in LP and ME schools can download their appointment letter from the website. Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned that around 7,000 candidates will be appointed as LP, ME teachers. This was informed in a press briefing by State Education Minister, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Janata Bhawan, Guwahati on Tuesday afternoon.

Further, a total of 7440 posts for teachers of High School will be advertised in this month. The appointment procedure will be completed within 3 to 4 months. By January, the new teachers can join in the schools. The minister further said that, “The education department will complete the process within 4 months subject to the fact that no court case is filed by anyone. Now-a-days, it has become a trend of filing court cases in each and every matter.” He further said that TET for the High School teachers teachers has already been conducted and so there will be no problem in appointing these teachers.
