Lowest daily Covid-19 cases of 42,640 found +ve in India in last 24 hours

June 21: India saw its lowest daily Covid-19 cases in 91 days as 42,640 people tested positive in the last 24 hours. This was informed by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare on Tuesday. Further, 1,167 deaths were also reported from the country in the last 24 hours, thereby taking the total death toll to 3,89,302. As of now, there are 6,62,521 active cases in India. So far, 2,89,26,038 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged. A total of 2,99,77,861 persons were infected with coronavirus in the country.
