1292 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday; 16 more deaths registered

Sept. 13: On Sunday, Assam registered 1292 new COVID-19 positive cases. With this, a total of 1,41,762 novel coronavirus patients were detected in Assam as of now. At present, there are 30,409 active cases in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 1292 #COVID cases detected today out of 15515 tests done in last 24 hours Positivity Rate- 8.33% Kamrup M- 422; Jorhat- 134; Lakhimpur- 107.”

Sunday witnessed 16 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the death tally of the state has now gone upto 469.
