Saksham & Rising organise relief camps, detects Divyangas & helps them

April 16: Saksham South Assam & Rising Youth Society jointly organised a relief camp at Subhashnagar and Dudhpatil on Thursday. During the camp seven Divyang child were detected by them. 1 child who has issues of speech was given spot Speech Therapy advice by Therapist Sona Gupta. Other divyang included 1 child detected with cornea blind, 1 visual impaired, 1 CP & 3 physically challenged. Also three squint cases were detected.

All Divyang were given relief along with 20 families covered by ration & 100 people given packed lunch. It was also found that all of them were unaware about the government financial schemes for Divyanganjan during COVID-19 relief camp. Saksham has come forward to try to enroll their names for treatment. This was informed by Mithun Roy from Saksham. In today’s event, the members present were Sarbani Paul Kar, Susmi Gupta , Gupta, Pinak Roy, Rysian Bishwajit Roy, Sandip Roy and others.
