Lions Central & YASE conducts ‘Free cataract detection and eye check up camp’

March 29: ‘Lions Club of Silchar Central’ and ‘Youths Against Social Evil (YASE)’ jointly organized a ‘Free cataract detection and eye check up camp’ at the 637, Algin LP School today. Dr Dipshikha Pandey and technician Santanu Choudhury and team examined 153 patients, out of which 16 were detected with cataract.  These patients will be brought to ‘Lions Eye Hospital, Silchar’ for free operations on 1 April. Moreover 69 patients were given free spectacles after proper examination.
