Leo Club of Silchar Greater celebrate ‘World Heritage Day’ in a unique way

Leo Club of Silchar Greater celebrated World Heritage Day on Tuesday. They asked simple questions to the people on the street randomly relating to the history of Barak Valley. People responded well to this new format of quiz conducted on the street by the Leos.

“The main motive behind this initiative was to make the people aware about the rich heritage and culture of Barak Valley because we believe, we can understand our country in a better way only when we will know about our own valley,” stated Leo Sweata Roy.

The Project Chairperson was Leo Sweta Roy and Co-Project Chairperson was Leo Purabi Das. Leo Advisor Sabyasachi Rudra Gupta, President Neha Chakraborty, Immediate Past President Debosmita Biswas, Vice President Subhajit Das, Treasurer Subha Chakraborty, Service Director Soumyajyoti Bhattacharjee, and members Sunayana Nath, Rajdeep Paul and Bishal Paul were present.
