Landslide at NH-06 near Sonapur tunnel, debris removed & road opened

J7ne 7: Due to torrential rainfall in East Jaintia Hills District for the past many days, another Landslide has taken place near the Sonapur Tunnel at Nah-06 on Tuesday morning.

Work to clear the debris and clear the road from the landslide that occured near the Sonapur Tunnel this morning started in full swing.

Finally, around 11.30 AM, the road was cleared and vehicles started to ply through this tunnel.
