Jyotirmoy Daimary takes charge as Executive Officer of Lala Municipal Board
April 4: Subdivisional Officer (Sadar) cum Executive Officer, Lala Municipal Board, Jyotirmoy Daimary took the overall charge of the urban local body following the expiry of its five-year term. Daimary took over the charge from the outgoing chairman in the forenoon on Saturday. The term of the municipal board came to an end on Friday.
On Friday, Circle Officer, Hailakandi cum Executive Officer of Hailakandi Municipal Board, Tridip Roy took the overall charge from the Chairperson of the board. The term of the municipal board expired on Thursday.
All the bank accounts and matters relating to the treasury will now be singly operated by the concerned officers with prior approval from the Deputy Commissioner.
On Wednesday, Deputy Commissioner, Keerthi Jalli issued an order asking the concerned officers to take over charge of the respective urban local bodies following dissolution in the wake of completion of their term.
