Jalukbari Ayurvedic College converted into COVID-19 hospital

June 19: In the backdrop of the rising COVID-19 cases in Assam, the Jalukbari Ayurvedic College has been renovated into a full-fledged 110-bed COVID hospital. The hospital was inaugurated on Friday by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with Minister of State Pijush Hazarika. Taking to his twitter handle, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Happy, as we had announced this on May 23. It adds to our preparedness in our fight against the pandemic.”
