“It’s a Murder”: Himanta Sarma On Zubeen’s Death

way2barak, November 26: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, speaking in the Assam Legislative Assembly, declared that the death of singer Zubeen Garg was a murder. Sarma accused the opposition of shielding the individuals responsible for the death of the 52-year-old singer-composer, who died in Singapore on September 19. The Chief Minister stated, ‘This is on record. This is a murder. It is a murder… and we will follow murder case.’ A special investigation team has invoked Section 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertains to murder.
