Inner Wheel Club organised several programes to celebrate 77th Independence Day

way2barak, 16 August :The Inner Wheel Club of Silchar, celebrated the 77th Independence Day of our Nation in a grand and fervent way.
The members of the Club, had first hoisted the National Flag with the Rotary Club members at the Rotary premises.
The Club members, had done a grand celebration with the students of Surya Kumar High School Silchar.
An art exhibition was conducted there for almost 100 students belonging to all categories. The students participated very enthusiastically, and have given their best. The prizes given were School bags, colour books and crayons, and ofcourse a very attractive certificate to the winners were also given.The members of the Club have also taken the initiative to conduct an outdoor game for the students, like the musical chair.
The prizes along with the certificate were also given to the winners of the said game.
After the program got finished at the school, the Club members attend the community feast at the club premises, which is held every year to serve food to the poor people of the locality. The Inner Wheel Club of Silchar donates an amount of Rs 5000 for this noble cause.
