India reports 50,848 Covid +ve cases in last 24 hours, total cases cross 3 crore-mark

June 23: India registered 50,848 new Covid-19 positive cases and 1,358 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the country’s total number of coronavirus cases reached 3,00,28,709. The total death toll has reached 3,90,660. It needs mention here that on Tuesday, India reported 42,640 cases and 1,167 deaths.

At present, the country’s active cases have dropped to 6,43,194, the lowest in the last 82 days. As per the health ministry, the daily positivity rate now stands at 2.67 percent., while the recovery rate has gone upto 96.56 percent.
