India registers 3,43,144 new Covid cases, 3,44,776 discharge & 4000 fatalities in last 24 hours

May 14: Though Covid-19 positive cases is on the surge in India, but on Friday, there was some ray of hope as the the number of recovered patients were more than the number of infected patients in the last 24 hours. India registered 3,43,144 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours on Friday, whereas, 3,44,776 patients were discharged. In last 24 hours, the death toll has reached 4000. At present, the total active coronavirus cases in the country stands at 24,046, 809. This is as per the data provided by Ministry of Health.

Moreover, the country’s total case count has now reached 24,046,809 and so far, a total of 20,079,599 patients were discharged. The recovery rate in India now stands at 83.2 percent.
