After testing negative, Deputy Speaker Aminul Haque discharged from SMCH

August 6: Deputy Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly & Sonai MLA Aminul Haque Laskar was discharged from Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH) on Thursday after testing negative. He was seen returning back to his home in an ambulance.

It needs mention here that the Deputy Speaker was tested positive on 28 July, 2020 after which he was admitted at SMCH. Aminul Hague Laskar, who incidentally happens to be Assam’s first COVID-19 patient to be administered the plasma therapy on. Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli and Principal of SMCH were present during the discharge of the Deputy Speaker.
