Holy Cross HS School to begin new academic session from 19 April in online mode

April 17: Holy Cross Higher Secondary School, Silchar was supposed to begin its new academic session 2021-2022 from 19 April, 2021 in offline mode. However, on 17 April, Sr Teresa Martis BS, Principal of the school informed the students and their parents that the new session will begin on 19 April but in online mode. It was further stated by the Principal that the classes will be conducted in online mode till further notice. The time table of online classes was also circulated by the school in its respective WhatsApp groups.

Though there was no mention, yet is seems that the augment of the 2nd wave of COVID-19 compelled the school authorities to play safe and opt for online classes. Cachar district at present has 149 active Covid-19 cases.
