Heroine worth Rs. 1 crore recovered, one arrested

way2barak, June 3: Acting on reliable input regarding the illegal transportation of Narcotics in Digorkhal under Kalain PS, a Truck vehicle bearing reg no AS 01 EC 2533 coming towards Kalain side was intercepted .

Upon searching vehicle in the presence of independent witnesses and under videography, the following articles were recovered and seized:

a) 14 soap cases containing 170 gms suspected Heroine

b) 1 mobile phones.

c) One Tata Truck

The DDK kit showed positive for Heroine.

The details of the apprehended persons are as follows: Azaduddin R/O Natanpur PS – Kalain, Dist- Cachar .

Value of seized article in Black Market worth Rs 1 crore approximately.

Police informs, further legal action is being taken.
