Heroin seized from night super bus, arrested 3 passengers

way2barak, January 21: Based on a source information, a search was conducted in a Night Super Bus (Deep Travels) bearing regd No. AR-11A-7199 coming from ISBT, Silchar and going to Guwahati near Anupom Hotel, Digorkhal under the jurisdiction of Kalain Police Station. During thorough police recovered 9(nine) soap cases containing suspected to be heroine weighing about 102 grams from the procession of the passengers namely 1.Bulbul Ali Laskar 2. Ruma Begum & 3. Baby Begum Laskar. The recovered narcotic substance have been seized in presence of neutral witnesses observing all formalities. From the preliminary investigation it has come light that the contraband has been brought from Jiribam, Manipur.
