Hailakandi administration directs Health department to vaccinate all counting officials and employees

April 27: The district administration has asked the health authorities to vaccinate all the officials and employees engaged in counting of votes of Assembly election on May 2.

In two separate orders issued by the Personnel Cell, Assembly Election to the Joint Director of Health Services, Deputy Commissioner, Megh Nidhi Dahal, has directed to arrange vaccination for officers and staffs drawn from different offices of the district and engaged to assist the Returning Officers of the three LACs in counting of votes.

In an order, the Election Department has asked the administration to upload cent per cent status of vaccination in respect of all categories of counting officials and employees. “The Head of Offices of the district have to take utmost care to ensure that all the 131 counting supervisors and counting assistants are vaccinated within April 28,” the order stated.
