All education institutions & non-essential pvt establishments closed for another 24 hours: DC Cachar

May 20: In view of the ongoing floods in Cachar, all Educational Institutions ( both Govt & Private) & Non- Essential Private Establishments of Cachar District shall remain dosed for the next 24 hours. This order shall be effective from 6.00 AM of 21st May, 2022 and will remain in force for next 24 hours. This was stated in an order issued by Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairperson, District Disaster Management Authority, Cachar on 20 May, 2022.

Further. those students who are appearing for the Medical PG Examinations are exempted from this direction & their exam will he held as per their schedule. This order comes into force with immediate effect.

Earlier on 18 May, 2022, DC Keerthi Jalli ordered closure of all educational institutions and Non- Essential Private Establishments of Cachar District for 48 hours from 19 May to 20 May.
