Uttara Saha & Junaid Laskar jointly bags 1st position in BCS from Assam University

April 13: It’s indeed a matter of immense pride for Uttara Saha and Junaid Ahmed Laskar for jointly securing the top position in Bachelor in Computer Science (BCS) from Assam University, Silchar, the results for which was declared on 6 April, 2022. Both of them secured CGPA of 7.45 and got Letter Grade ‘A’. They will be conferred gold medals for their brilliant performance. The 2nd position was bagged by Tapadhir Das, who secured CGPA of 7.27 and also got Letter Grade ‘A’.

Infact, after passing Higher Secondary, they got admitted in the Integrated Course M.Sc in Computer Science in Assam University. These three meritorious students achieved rank in the Bachelor’s part of the Integrated Course. A total of 34 students appeared in the said course, out of which, 30 of them got qualified.

Uttara Saha, daughter of renowned journalist Uttam Kumar Saha and Shipra Saha from Silchar has now taken admission in Master of Computer Applications (MCA) at Tezpur University. Junaid Ahmed Laskar is also pursuing the same course at Tezpur University. The 2nd rank holder Tapadhir Das has sought admission in M.Sc in Computer Science in Assam University.
