First Budget Session of the present Assam Legislative Assembly from 12 July

June 8: The 1st Budget Session of the Himanta Biswa Sarma-led Assam Government will be held from 12 July, 2021. The decision was taken following the fourth cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Janata Bhawan, Guwahati on Tuesday. Informing this in a tweet, the Chief Minister wrote, “It was recommended to hold the first Budget Session of the present Assam Legislative Assembly from July 12.”
