Fire breaks out at Baskandi, property worth lakhs gutted

March 2: A major fire broke out at Palorbondh in Baskandi of Cachar district on Wednesday. Three houses were gutted in the fire. As per initial reports, property worth lakhs of rupees were destroyed. Fire engines rushed to the spot and set to extinguish the flames. However the cause of the fire could not be extinguished.
