1 patient in oxygen, no covid death in SMCH on saturday

Sept. 18: The Covid-19 situation is improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 17 September to 5 PM on 18 September) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on saturday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 18 September, there were 19 Covid active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, no patients were put under ventilator support but 01 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 2 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 04 of them were discharged.
