Excelcare selected as “Referral Hospital” by Assam govt for treatment of serving & retired employees

Aug. 8: In a notification issued by the Government of Assam on 5 August, 2021, it was stated that, Excelcare Hospitals, Paschim Boragaon, near Ganesh Mandir, Kamrup, Guwahati- 781033, has been selected as a “Referral Hospital” under Rule-10(d) of Assam Medical Attendance Rules, 2008 for the purpose of medical treatment of serving and retired employees, including eligible dependent family members, of the Government of Assam residing within the State of Assam, for the specialties indicated below:

The employees, both serving and retired. include the family pension holders and the officers of the All India Services (who opt for AMA Rules, 2008) working under the State Govt. of Assam subject to the condition that any State Government official willing to avail the services in the said hospital shall be entitled for reimbursement as per Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) rate only and any expenditure above the CGHS rate shall have to be borne by the serving and retired employees including eligible dependent family members residing within the state of Assam. This notification will come into force with immediate effect.
