Har Ghar Tiranga’ celebrates with colorful procession at Assam University
‘হর ঘর তেরঙ্গা’ কর্মসূচি উদযাপনে বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রা আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১২ আগস্ট : স্বাধীনতার অমৃত মহোৎসবের অঙ্গ হিসেবে মঙ্গলবার উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনার সঙ্গে ‘হর ঘর তেরঙ্গা’ কর্মসূচি উদযাপিত হল আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। এ উপলক্ষে এদিন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় প্রাঙ্গণে জাতীয় পতাকা নিয়ে এক বর্ণাঢ্য শোভাযাত্রারও আয়োজন করা হয়। শোভাযাত্রার আনুষ্ঠানিক সূচনা করেন উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক রাজীব মোহন পন্থ।

এদিন দুপুরে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কেন্দ্রীয় গ্রন্থাগার রবীন্দ্র লাইব্রেরির সামনে থেকে শোভাযাত্রা শুরু হয়। জাতীয় পতাকা হাতে নিয়ে পথচলা শুরু করেন উপাচার্য সহ নিবন্ধক ড. প্রদোষ কিরণ নাথ, বিত্ত আধিকারিক ড. শুভদীপ ধর, পরীক্ষা নিয়ন্ত্রক ড. সুপ্রবীর দত্তরায় সহ বিভিন্ন বিভাগের অধ্যাপক, গবেষক, ছাত্রছাত্রী ও শিক্ষাকর্মীরা। সুসজ্জিত ট্যাবলোর মধ্যে মাইকে চলতে থাকে দেশাত্মবোধক সঙ্গীতও।

এই কর্মসূচিতে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক পন্থ বলেন, ভারতীয়দের মধ্যে দেশাত্মবোধ ও দেশপ্রেম আরও বেশি মাত্রায় ছড়িয়ে দেওয়ার লক্ষ্যে ২০২২ সালে ‘হর ঘর তেরঙ্গা’ কর্মসূচি শুরু হয়। এই কর্মসূচির ফলে জাতীয় পতাকা আজ প্রাতিষ্ঠানিকতার গণ্ডি ছাড়িয়ে ঘরে ঘরে উত্তোলিত হচ্ছে। সমগ্র দেশের আনাচে-কানাচে আজ এই কর্মসূচি রীতিমতো উৎসবের মেজাজে উদযাপিত হচ্ছে।

উপাচার্য বলেন, জাতীয় পতাকা শুধু এক প্রতীক নয়, এ আমাদের সম্মিলিত গর্ব ও ঐক্যের প্রতিরূপ। এই কর্মসূচির মাধ্যমে প্রতিজন ভারতীয় নাগরিকের হৃদয়ে চেতনার নব উন্মেষ ঘটেছে। তাই তো আজ এই কর্মসূচি সমগ্র দেশজুড়েই এক হৃদয়গ্রাহী সংযোগে রূপান্তরিত হয়েছে। এর আগে প্রাসঙ্গিক বক্তব্য রাখেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্পোর্টস বোর্ডের ডিরেক্টর অধ্যাপক এম তিনেশ্বরী দেবী।

way2barak, August 12 : As part of the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, the ‘Har Ghar Teranga’ program was celebrated with enthusiasm at Assam University on Tuesday. On this occasion, a colorful procession was also organized on the university premises with the national flag. The procession was officially inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Professor Rajiv Mohan Pant.

The procession started in front of the Rabindra Library, the central library of the university, at noon. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pant, Registrar Dr. Pradosh Kiran Nath, Finance Officer Dr. Shubhdeep Dhar, Controller of Examinations Dr. Suprabir Datta Roy, along with professors, researchers, students and academicians from various departments, started the procession carrying the national flag. Patriotic songs were also played amidst the well-decorated tableaus.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chancellor Professor Pant said, “The ‘Har Ghar Teranga’ program was started in 2022 with the aim of spreading patriotism and nationalism among all Indians to a greater extent. As a result of this program, the national flag is being hoisted in every house, beyond the boundaries of institutionality. Today, this program is being celebrated in a festive mood all over the country.

The Vice Chancellor said, the national flag is not just a symbol, it is a reflection of our collective pride and unity. Through this program, a new consciousness has emerged in the hearts of every Indian citizen. Therefore, today this program has transformed into a heartwarming connection across the country.” Earlier, Professor M. Tineshwari Devi, Director of the University Sports Board also delivered a speech on the occasion.
