HSLC & HS exam to start from mid March, students to be vaccinated prior to exam

Dec. 30: High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary (HS) exam will be held from mid-March, 2022 in Assam. This was said by state Education Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu on Thursday. He also added that the said exams will get over by mid-April. Results of HS & HSLC exams will also be declared as early as possible. Infact, a high level meeting of the state Education Department took place on Thursday, wherein discussion took place about the conduct of HSLC and HS exam.

Minister Dr Ranoj Pegu also informed that prior to the HSLC and HS exams, the process of vaccinating those above 15 years of age will be started as per the directions of ICMR ad state health department. He said that 15 schools in each district will be earmarked per day to complete administering vaccine doses to the students. The minister further informed that officials of SEBA and AHSEC would soon meet to finaise the exam schedule of HSLC and HS.
