Day Light Club makes graffiti on streets of Silchar to spread awareness on COVID-19
May 03: To encourage people to stay at home and spread awareness about the coronavirus, a group of local youths in Silchar have come together and painted giant coronavirus graffiti on roads. Members of Day Light Club, Silchar have painted on the streets at Rangirkhari thereby requesting people to stay home during lockdown.
The youths seemed to be very enthusiastic paint coronavirus graffiti on roads of the town to make people aware of the global pandemic and also the importance of staying at home during this lockdown. Messages such as, maintaining social distance, to use face masks etc were beautifully written on the road.
Expressing his views, Raju Dey on behalf of Day Light Club said, “During the ongoing pandemic, wearing masks while going out and maintaining social distancing is the only sword we have got with us to fight it. As everyone needs to be aware of these facts and about how huge impact it might have in our lives, these little advisories needs to be observed by all. The youths of Day Light Club has joined hands in this awareness under the guidance of Tinku Deb who have led this painting campaign with hard labour and meaningful thought.”
