Daffodils School, Silchar takes out rally to mark glorious 75 years of India’s independence

Aug. 11: After about 200 years of British imperial rule, India gained her independence on 15th August, 1947. Since then, the Indians celebrate this day every year. However, 15 August, 2022 holds a special significance as it marks the 75 years’ of country’s freedom.

In this connection,  Daffodils School, Malugram, Silchar has organised a rally this morning under ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by Prime Minister Narenddra Modi this year to mark “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

It was an initiative to encourage people to hoist the Tiranga at home collectively as a nation, this year, and make a commitment to nation-building as well as invoke the feelings of patriotism in the hearts of the people of the nation.

Countless pupils of almost all the classes of the school as well parents and guardians in their traditional attires joined the rally on the call of the Principal of the school, Subrata Dey. The rally began at 6:30 in the morning today from the school and proceeded via Itkhola to the Capital Point and then again via Ghoniwala, Madhuraghat and then ended at the school premises.
