365 new +ve cases detected in Assam on Friday, state tally rises to 9799

July 3: On Friday, 365 new cases were reported from across Assam. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state has gone upto 9799, out of which, 3455 are active cases. Further, on Friday, 221 patients were also discharged from Assam, which took the discharge tally of the state to 6327. Yet again, on Friday a total of  10,000 plus COVID-19 tests were performed. As off now, a total of 4,38,882 tests were performed in Assam.

In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “365 new COVID19+ cases detected today Out of total cases today, 134 were reported from Guwahati City. Take proper precautions & care to stay safe.”
