CM Sonowal to inaugurate closing ceremony of Golden Jubilee Celebration of N.C. College, Badarpur

January 24: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will inaugurate the closing ceremony of the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Nabin Chandra College, Badarpur on 29 January, 2020. The Chief Minister will attend the ceremony at 2 PM. It needs mention here that N.C. College was established in the year 1969.

Expressing happiness, Principal of N.C. College, Dr. Mortuja Hussain said that the Golden Jubilee Celebrations began on 7 August, 2019 at 9 AM with a colourful procession. Meanwhile various other programmes were held throughout the year in this connection. In connection with the Golden Jubilee Celebration, games and sports competition were also held in the college campus. The celebration will see its logical conclusion with the state Chief Minister visiting the college, said Dr. Hussain.

In this connection, the Principal has also convened a meeting of the teachers and students on 25 January, 2020 at 11 AM for preparation of the formal inauguration programme of the Final Phase of the Golden Jubilee Celebration by CM Sonowal. People of Badarpur have expressed the view that under the able leadership of its present Principal Mortuja Hussain, the institution has ascended great heights in every respect.
