Chhattisgarh CM announces aid of Rs 15 crore each to Kerala, Tripura

way2barak, Aug 31 : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced  financial aid of Rs 15 crore each for the states of Kerala and Tripura, which have been severely affected by heavy rains, landslides, and floods. The decision underscores Chhattisgarh’s solidarity with the disaster-hit regions and its commitment to providing support during times of crisis.

The announcement was made public through a post on X (formerly Twitter) by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), which highlighted that the funds will be allocated from Chhattisgarh’s Disaster Relief Fund. The financial assistance aims to aid the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in the affected areas, where the natural calamities have resulted in significant loss of life, damage to property, and disruption of normal life.
