Assam completes 5 million COVID-19 tests

Dec. 9: In a significant achievement, Assam has completed 5 million (55 lakh) tests till 8 December, 2020. Taking to his twitter handle, State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Assam completed 5 million (55 lakhs +) #COVID19 tests between Feb 7 to Dec 8, 2020, averaging 5 lakh (half million) tests per month. My salute to our health workers and officials. Together, we are determined to fight the pandemic.”
