Cachar Police apprehends 1 more from Sonai Road for being involved in supari syndicate

Feb. 14: After Dipankar Deb, Kartik Paul and Anjan Paul, Cachar Police under the leadership of Police Super Ramandeep Kaur has now apprehended another master mind of Burmese Supari (Beetle nut) syndicate. As per sources, Cachar Police on Monday evening apprehended a person identified as Raj Shah from Sonai Road, Silchar on alleged charges of being involved in the syndicate which is active in illegal Supari syndicate operating in the district. It was learnt that the cops were interrogating Raj to unearth more links of this unholy syndicate.
