Cachar Dist. Admin & NETC inked pact for procurement of health care facilities for S.M Dev civil hospital

Way2barak, July 20 : In a bid to strengthen the  healthcare facilities in the district, Cachar District Administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with North East Transmission Company Limited (NETC) for procurement, supply, installation and commissioning of colour Doppler USG, ICU bed, multipara monitor for S.M Dev civil hospital Silchar as CSR activities here on Tuesday.

The MoU was signed by  Deputy Commissioner, Rohan Kumar Jha on behalf of cachar district administration and Deputy general manager, Anil R Sah, General Manager, Jyotirmoy Barman, on behalf of NETC.
Under this MoU worth Rs. 19,27,535 (nineteen lakh twenty seven thousand five hundred thirty five) the NETC will assist for procurement of medical instrument and equipments in S.M Dev civil hospital in silchar. It may be mentioned here that Cachar District Administration has taken some pro-active steps to encourage the corporate sector in the district to take up projects for the improvement in the health and education sectors by strengthening the existing infrastructure for the benefit of the economically weaker section.
Signing the MoU, the DC Rohan Kumar Jha accorded special thanks and graduate to the officials of the NETC for  much needed boost to the health care sector as well as education sector. “This step of NETC under its CSR initiative would enhance the programme of health care facilities of the district, the DC Jha added.
Earlier, at the conference hall of DC’S office , Deputy commissioner Cachar Rohan Kumar Jha also handed over 1541 nos of ceiling fans to 673 elementary and secondary schools under CSR activities by NETC in the presence of district development commissioner Rajib Roy, District mission coordinator, senior planning officer Ruli Dulagafu , training & Development branch and school teachers.
