CA Exam 2019 postponed due to Lok Sabha Polls

March 13: As a result of the forthcoming Parliamentary Elections, the Chartered Accountant (CA) 2019 examinations have been postponed. The exams which were scheduled on May 2 until May 17 will now be held from May 27 until June 12. As a result of this change in exam schedule, the revised dates for submitting exam forms is March 16, and with late fee will be March 23. The said examination will be conducted at 144 centres, including five foreign locations.

The change in schedule will be applicable for all exams of CA, like Students Examinations, Foundation Course (under New Scheme), Intermediate (IPC) Course (Old Scheme), Intermediate Course (New Scheme), Final Course under Old and New Scheme, and Members’ Examination, on various dates.

Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has also informed that due to Eid, no examination will take place on June 5.  ICAI has also informed that no further changes will be made in the examination schedule for any date in case of declaration of a public holiday by the Centre, state or local governments.
