Assam University’s B-School Dean attends Academic Leaders Meet in Hyderabad
অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব ইন্ডিয়ান ম্যানেজমেন্ট স্কুলের কর্মশালায় অংশ নিলেন অধ্যাপক রামানন্দ

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ৪ আগস্ট : অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অব ইন্ডিয়ান ম্যানেজমেন্ট স্কুলস-এর উদ্যোগে আয়োজিত দুদিনের কর্মশালায় অংশ নিলেন আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের স্কুল অব ম্যানেজমেন্ট স্টাডিজের ডিন অধ্যাপক এইচ রামানন্দ সিং। হায়দরাবাদে গত ১ ও ২ আগস্ট এই কর্মশালা আয়োজিত হয়। কর্মশালার বিষয় ছিল ‘উৎকর্ষ মানের বি স্কুল তৈরি : প্রতিষ্ঠানের উন্নয়নে শৈক্ষিক কর্মকর্তার কৌশল ‘।

এই কর্মশালাটি মূলত বিজনেস স্কুলের ডিন, ডিরেক্টর ও শৈক্ষিক কর্মকর্তাদের জন্য আয়োজিত হয়। দুদিনের এই কর্মশালায় বিশেষ করে বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানের উন্নয়ন ও শিক্ষাব্যবস্থায় সেরা অনুশীলন, নেতৃত্বের কৌশল ও প্রয়োজনীয় কাঠামো নিয়ে বিস্তৃত আলোচনা করা হয়।

সর্বভারতীয় স্তরের এই সমাবেশে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের হয়ে প্রতিনিধিত্ব করেন অধ্যাপক এইচ রামানন্দ সিং। তিনি আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগের অগ্রগতি ও সাফল্য, প্লেসমেন্ট, গ্রীষ্মকালীন ইন্টার্নশিপ, ছাত্র ভর্তি ও শিক্ষাব্যবহার ওপর আলোকপাত করেন। কর্মশালায় অধ্যাপক সিংকে এসোসিয়েশন অব ইন্ডিয়ান ম্যানেজমেন্ট স্কুল থেকে শংসাপত্রও প্রদান করা হয়।

প্রসঙ্গত, আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বাণিজ্য প্রশাসন বিভাগে এআইসিটিই অনুমোদিত বিবিএ, এমবিএ ও ইএমবিএ পাঠ্যক্রম পড়ানো হচ্ছে। এতে প্রতিটি শিক্ষাবর্ষেই দেশ-বিদেশের শিক্ষার্থীরা ভর্তি হচ্ছেন। পড়ুয়াদের জন্য ক্যাম্পাস ইন্টারভিউয়েরও ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন বিভাগীয় প্রধান অধ্যাপক দেবমাল্য ঘোষ।

way2barak, August 4 : Prof. H Ramanand Singh, Dean of the School of Management Studies, Assam University, participated in a two-day workshop organized by the Association of Indian Management Schools. The workshop was organized in Hyderabad on August 1 and 2. The topic of the workshop was ‘Building Excellence in B School: Academic Leader’s Strategies for Institutional Development’.

This workshop was designed specifically for Deans, Directors and Academic leaders of Business Schools. In this two-day workshop, best practices, leadership strategies and necessary frameworks were discussed extensively, especially in the development of business administration educational institutions and the education system.

Prof. H Ramananda Singh, represented Assam University in the national platform and shared the success stories of the Department of Business Administration, Assam University, its Placement, Summer Internship, Admission, Academics etc. At the end of the program Prof. H Ramananda Singh received the certificate from AIMS-Association of Indian Management School, Hyderabad.

It is to mention that, the Department of Business Administration of Assam University offers AICTE approved BBA, MBA and EMBA courses. Students from both India and abroad are admitted to it every academic year. There is also a facility for campus interviews for the students as informed by the Head of the Department, Prof. Debmalya Ghosh.
