Assam University to host ‘Northeast International Sustainable Summit’ in November
নভেম্বরে নৰ্থ-ইস্ট ইন্টারন্যাশনাল সাস্টেনেবল সামিট বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ২৬ জুলাই : উদ্ভাবন, সংরক্ষণ ও অন্তৰ্ভুক্তিমূলক প্ৰবৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে টেকসই উন্নয়ন তুলে ধরার লক্ষ্যে ‘নৰ্থ-ইস্ট ইন্টারন্যাশনাল সাস্টেনেবল সামিট-২০২৫’ আয়োজিত হচ্ছে আসাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে। ডোনার মন্ত্ৰকের অধীন নৰ্থ ইস্টাৰ্ন কাউন্সিলের সহযোগিতায় এই আন্তৰ্জাতিক সম্মেলনের আয়োজন করছে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সমাজকৰ্ম বিভাগ। দেশ-বিদেশের বিশেষজ্ঞদের উপস্থিতিতে এই শিখর সম্মেলন আয়োজিত হবে আগামী ২১ ও ২২ নভেম্বর।

সম্মেলনের আহ্বায়ক ড. লালজো এস. থাংজম জানিয়েছেন, রাষ্ট্ৰসংঘের টেকসই উন্নয়নের লক্ষ্যমাত্ৰা অৰ্জনের জন্য উত্তর-পূৰ্ব ভারতের ঐতিহ্যবাহী জ্ঞানকে সমসাময়িক উদ্ভাবনের সঙ্গে একীভূত করার লক্ষ্যে এই সম্মেলন এক গুরুত্বপূৰ্ণ পদক্ষেপ। বিশেষ করে নীতিনিৰ্ধারক, শিক্ষাবিদ, গবেষক, শিক্ষাৰ্থী সহ স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থাকে একত্ৰিত করে উত্তর-পূৰ্ব ভারতের অনন্য পরিবেশ ও সামাজিক-সাংস্কৃতিক ভূদৃশ্যের সঙ্গে সামঞ্জস্য রেখে টেকসই উন্নয়নের কৌশলগুলির ওপর সংলাপ গড়ে তোলাই এর মূল লক্ষ্য। তাই এ অঞ্চলে এক স্থিতিশীল ভবিষ্যৎ নির্ধারণে বিভিন্ন মতামত এই সম্মেলনে গুরুত্ব পাবে।

সম্মেলনের কো-অর্ডিনেটর অধ্যাপক এম তিনেশ্বরী দেবী জানিয়েছেন, এই শিখর সম্মেলন উপলক্ষে গবেষক ও পেশাদারদের কাছ থেকে সংশ্লিষ্ট বিষয়ে গবেষণাপত্ৰ ও কেস স্টাডি আহ্বান করা হচ্ছে। সন্দৰ্ভপত্ৰের সারসংক্ষেপ জমা দেওয়ার শেষ তারিখ ২০ সেপ্টেম্বর৷ গ্ৰহণযোগ্যতার বিজ্ঞপ্তি প্ৰকাশ করা হবে ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর। সম্পূৰ্ণ সন্দৰ্ভপত্ৰ জমা দেওয়ার শেষ তারিখ ২৫ অক্টোবর৷ নিবন্ধন, সারসংক্ষেপ জমা সহ যে কোনও বিষয়ে জানার জন্য ausneiss25@gmail.com ইমেলে যোগাযোগ করা যাবে।

গবেষক ও পেশাদাররা যেসব বিষয়ে সন্দৰ্ভপত্ৰ জমা দিতে পারবেন তার মধ্যে রয়েছে টেকসই উদ্ভাবন ও জীবিকা, দেশজ অনুশীলন, উদ্যোক্তা, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন। সংরক্ষণ ও প্ৰাকৃতিক সম্পদ ব্যবস্থাপনা : জলবায়ু অভিযোজন, জীববৈচিত্ৰ্য, জল পরিচালনা। অন্তৰ্ভুক্তিমূলক উন্নয়ন ও সামাজিক ন্যায়বিচার : লিঙ্গ অন্তৰ্ভুক্তি, প্ৰান্তিক সম্প্ৰদায়, অংশগ্ৰহণমূলক পরিকল্পনা৷ শাসন ও নীতি কাঠামো : স্থানীয় শাসন, টেকসই নগর-গ্ৰামীণ পরিকল্পনা, আন্তঃসীমান্ত সহযোগিতা।

সমাজকৰ্ম বিভাগের প্ৰধান অধ্যাপক তরুণ বিকাশ সুকাই জানিয়েছেন, এই শিখর সম্মেলন জীবিকা, সংরক্ষণ ও শাসন ব্যবস্থার ওপর উদ্ভাবনী দৃষ্টিভঙ্গিগুলি ভাগ করে এ অঞ্চলের অন্তৰ্ভুক্তিমূলক প্ৰবৃদ্ধির জন্য আন্তঃসীমান্ত ও আন্তঃবিষয়ক সহযোগিতা জোরদার করার ক্ষেত্ৰে এক গতিশীল প্ৰচারের মাধ্যম হিসেবে কাজ করবে।

way2barak, July 26 : Assam University is organizing the ‘North-East International Sustainable Summit-2025’ with the aim of promoting sustainable development through innovation, conservation and inclusive growth. The international conference is being organized by the Department of Social Work of the university in collaboration with the North Eastern Council under the DoNER Ministry. The summit will be organized on November 21 and 22 in the presence of experts from India and abroad.

Dr. Laljo S. Thanjam, Convener of the conference said, this conference is an important step towards integrating the traditional knowledge of Northeast India with contemporary innovation to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The main objective of the conference is to bring together policy makers, academics, researchers, students and voluntary organizations to discuss sustainable development strategies in harmony with the unique environment and socio-cultural landscape of North-East India. Therefore, the conference will be important in shaping a sustainable future for the region.

Prof. M Tineshwori Devi, Coordinator of the conference said that, research papers and case studies on relevant topics are being invited from researchers and professionals on the occasion of this summit. The last date for submission of abstracts is 20th September. The notification of acceptance will be published on 30th September. The last date for submission of full abstracts is 25th October. Scholars and professionals are invited to submit original research papers and case studies aligned with the themes:
1. Sustainable Innovation & Livelihoods, Indigenous practices, green entrepreneurship, skill development. 2. Conservation & Natural Resource Management: Climate adaptation, biodiversity, water governance. 3. Inclusive Development & Social Justice: Gender inclusion, marginalized communities, participatory planning. 4. Governance & Policy Frameworks: Local governance, sustainable urban-rural planning, cross-border cooperation.

Prof.Tarun Bikash Sukai, Head of the Department of Social Work said, this summit will serve as a dynamic platform for strengthening cross-border and interdisciplinary cooperation for inclusive growth in the region by sharing innovative perspectives on livelihoods, conservation and governance.
