Assam reports 936 COVID-19 +ve cases on Friday, total rises to 15,536

July 10: On Friday, Assam recorded a total of 936 COVID-19 positive cases. With this, the state tally has also gone upto 15,536, out of which, 5650 are active cases. Further, eight cases of deaths due to COVID-19 were also reported during the day. In these difficult times, the ray of hope is the recovery of large number of corona patients. On Friday, a total of 701 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 9848 patients were discharged from various hospitals of the state as of now. Sharing this information, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet wrote, “Alert ~ 936 new #COVID ve+ cases in Assam, 521 in Guwahati alone. Times are trying, indeed. With vigilance, precautions & care, we shall overcome.”
