Assam govt to provide 20,000 jobs by 22 September

way2barak, Sept. 2: Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the Assam government will complete the recruitment process for 12,000 posts by 22 September. On Thursday, CM Assam said that he will hand over appointment letters to these 12,000 persons in a ceremony to be organised in Guwahati.

These 12,000 posts include constables and sub-inspectors in the Home Department, assistant engineers in the Public Works Department (PWD), Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Higher Education Department and Health Department, among others.
