All educational institutions closed in Meghalaya till indefinite period

March 17: Amidst rising instances of people affected by coronavirus in the country, many of the states are closing down educational institutions, cinema halls, gymnasiums and other areas of mass gatherings. The latest addition is the state of Meghalaya. The Meghalaya Government announced that all educational institutions in the State will remain closed for an indefinite period from Tuesday. The state health minister A L Hek said all educational institutions in the State will remain closed till further notice in view of the coronavirus threat globally.
