Around 55 police stations in Assam reconstructed with updated amenities under MOITRI scheme

Dec. 28: In a positive development,  nearly 55 police stations across Assam has got face-lift. Under the Mission for Overall Improvement of Thana for Responsive Image (MOITRI), these police stations were updated with modern amenities like reception and waiting lounge, video-conference system, separate women and children cell, separate entry for them, toilets, adequate drinking water facility, boundary wall, cyber cell and even a creche.
